Positive Behaviour Support
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an approach that is used to support behaviour change in a child or adult with a learning disability.
PBS is based upon the principle that if you can teach someone a more effective and more acceptable behaviour than the challenging one, the challenging behaviour will reduce.
Behaviour Support Planning
Delegates will develop their own behaviour support plans for clients that they support. Designing green, amber and red strategies to respond to challenging behaviours.
Identifying and Understanding Individual Needs
